Employment Opportunity: Administrative Assistant

DENVER, CO – Ascend Performing Arts is seeking a motivated, energetic person to provide customer service and general office support in our home office. While this is considered a “part-time position”, qualified applicants may be considered for full-time employment with Ascend Performing Arts.

Responsibility

  • Provide customer service phone support, and greeting visitors to the office.
  • Support event ticket sales by taking online orders, cold-calling for group sales, pull tickets, package and ship.
  • Assist with online database entry and upkeep.
  • Assist with accounting data entry as needed.
  • Track online store orders, pull merchandise and package shipments.
  • General office support (organizing, filing, etc).
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 18 years or older.
  • Ability to lift at least 25 lbs.
  • Available immediately.
  • Be knowledgeable of the Blue Knights ensembles and Ascend events.

The ideal candidate should be energetic with great communication skills. Comfortable with computers (experience with Microsoft Office, Google Docs and QuickBooks a plus). An affinity with music and education a plus. The above job duties represent a small sampling of what you may be asked to do on any given day.

NOTE: This paid position is part-time, with the possibility of expanding to full-time for the right applicant.
