For Pyro Lugo-Allen (they/them), the focus is unapologetically exploring unity, impact, and the intersection of individual and group expression through art, visual design, choreography, and unfiltered creativity.

Constantly evolving, Pyro draws on two decades of collaborative experiences to inspire, question, and adapt their design process to best serve each project. They believe the role of creativity is to challenge norms and open minds to wild possibilities, unexpected interpretations, and underrepresented voices. 

Pyro has invested 16 years with The Cavaliers as a choreographer, visual designer, and artistic director, as well as seven years with Norwin High School as guard director and visual coordinator. They also served as visual coordinator for the Franklin High School and Harrison High School band programs.

Their creative work includes notable collaborations with Zydeco Winterguard, Blessed Sacrament Winterguard, Paramount Winterguard, Pride of Cincinnati, Reverie Independent A, Northern Academy of Performing Arts (UK), Independence Winterguard, Northmont High School, Marian Catholic High School, Lawrence Central High School, Miamisburg High School, Eastlake High School, Union High School, Kiski Area High School, Mill Creek High School, Mt. Lebanon High School, Lake Central High School, Paul Lawrence Dunbar High School, Milford HS, Clinton High School, and Tarpon Springs High School.

Pyro’s audio and sound designs have been used to bring productions to life for Zydeco Winterguard, Norwin High School, Lexis Winterguard, Juxtaposition Winterguard, Redemption Winterguard, Allegoria Winterguard, Origins Winterguard, Artistry in Blue Winterguard, Étude Winterguard, Bellbrook High School, Miamisburg High School, Eastlake High School, Cumberland Valley High School, Elk River High School, Colerain High School, Beavercreek High School, West Shore High School, and many others. 

Residing in Atlanta, GA, Pyro currently serves as a designer for Blessed Sacrament, Third Coast Independent Winterguard, Noir Independent A Winterguard, and Hillgrove High School.
