How have the Blue Knights impacted your life?

Some of my closest friends came from this organization. The lessons I’ve learned through the Blue Knights have helped shape me to who I am and still affect me today (rockets and Drum Corps have more in common than you would think).

What are some the Blue Knights’ core values/principles that have resonated with you in life?

I’ve learned its possible to always push yourself farther than you think. Being completely dedicated to something as a part of a team and succeeding together will always resonate with me throughout life experiences. How to lead, how to deal with difficult situations, and how to make a stellar PB&J all came from my experience with Blue Knights.

What advice would you tell someone considering trying out for the Blue Knights?

Take the first step, and just commit to doing it. It is 100% worth it! Then, outwork everyone else.

Attend shows/rehearsals/events, help out financially, bring Gatorade 🙂
