Austen is an educator in Dallas, Texas. He has worked with programs such as Burleson Centennial HS, Seven Lakes HS, Cinco Ranch HS and most recently taught at the Blue Knights Drum and Bugle Corps for the 2022 season. Austen has a bachelor’s degree from Stephen F. Austin State University in Music Education. Austen has previously performed with ensembles over the years including Monarch Independent Percussion (2017-2020), Colts Drum and Bugle Corps (2017) and the Blue Knights Drum and Bugle Corps (2019).
