DENVER, CO – The Blue Knights are pleased to present their show program for the 2018 Drum Corps International summer national tour: “The Fall and Rise”.
The Egyptian pantheon is known for its beautiful and evocative stories explaining the mysteries of the universe. The Blue Knights are using the most famous of these myths as the inspiration for their 2018 program “The Fall and Rise”. In keeping with their flair for the unexpected, Blue Knights’ program alludes to the journey of the sun god Ra as a springboard to go deeper and explore the invincible human spirit. When faced with the terrifying unknown it is ritual that connects us. When we are in our darkest hours it is hope that keeps us moving forward and above all it is our connection to each other that sustains us until the light returns

The Blue Knights Drum & Bugle Corps is proud to partner with Jupiter Band Instruments and Majestic Percussion. Working under a philosophy to support music education and community since 1930, Jupiter’s parent company, KHS Musical Instruments Co., Ltd., has become one of the largest musical instrument producers in the world today. Vic Firth, Remo and Zildjian will also play a role with the Blue Knights with the percussion section.
The ensemble will also continue its partnership with Winter Guard Tarps that provides quality digital printing for digital flags, backdrops, floor tarps, and uniforms as the official digital print partner for the Blue Knights. In addition, the Blue Knights utilizes The Band Hall for their uniform needs. Directors Showcase International (DSI) will be a key partner with their support of shoes, color guard equipment, gloves and band supplies for the Blue Knights. Pageantry Innovations is a proud sponsor of the Blue Knights with their support of props, pit carts and more. The horn line will utilize Pickett Brass mouthpieces for the the inaugural season.
