Blue Knights Announce Virtual Leadership Camp

DENVER, CO – The Blue Knights Drum & Bugle Corps is excited to announce a Virtual Leadership Camp on July 18 & 19!

The virtual Blue Knights Leadership Camp will be held on July 18 & 19, 2020 via Zoom.

This camp will be two days (11am-3pm MST each day) of unparalleled instruction and discussion for high school students in leadership positions or those looking to become leaders in their programs.

Clinic participants will learn about the Blue Knights approach to leadership, including servant leadership, creating a culture, and effective communication.

What to bring:

-An open mind for discussion

-A notebook to write down any thoughts, questions, and to take notes

Clinic fees:

-$60 per attendee

-With every four students sent by a program, a fifth may attend for free

Technical requirements:

-You will need a desktop or laptop computer with a camera and access to the internet. All of the clinic will be completed through the Zoom platform. You will be provided access instructions upon registration.”

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can I sign up for just one day, or do I have to attend both?
A: It is strongly encouraged to attend both days in order to receive all of the material. If you unable to attend either day, we will send you a recording of what you missed.

 

Q: Will recordings be available for those who sign up and pay, but cannot attend those hours?
A: Yes! A recording of the clinic will be shared with those unable to attend the scheduled times.

 

Q:  Can I sign up if I am outside of Colorado?
A:  Anyone is welcome to sign up from anywhere! We would also love for as many Colorado Schools to sign up as possible so we can continue working alongside them over the coming years.

 

Q: Is there a limited number of spots?
A: Through Zoom, we can have up to 290 participants!
