Ascend Performing Arts (APA) announces the resignation of Blue Knights Drum & Bugle Corps (BKDBC) Executive Director Daniel Belcher with gratitude for his work with the organization. Mr. Belcher’s departure is part of an administrative restructure which will see current Ascend CEO Mark Arnold assuming the responsibilities of Executive Director of the Blue Knights Drum & Bugle Corps, a position he has previously held within the organization.
Mr. Belcher was named BKDBC Assistant Director/Acting Director in May 2021 and became Executive Director in October 2021. He was instrumental in guiding the Blue Knights through what was perhaps the most challenging summer brought on by the pandemic.
“We are appreciative of Daniel’s contributions to the Blue Knights and wish him nothing but the very best.” stated Arnold.
The APA Board of Directors sincerely thank Mr. Belcher for his passion and drive during his time with the Blue Knights.
While APA is currently directing its efforts towards operational optimization and prioritization, we wish to recognize our existing management team, who will persist in overseeing the organization’s daily requirements. Staff and personnel for the BKDBC 2024 season are in place and we look forward to an exciting competitive season. The Board of Directors is also committed to continuously evaluating the organizational needs to advance APA’s mission of elevating life performance.
