Position Summary:
The Chef intern helps prepare and serve nutritious meals for the Blue Knights Drum Corps during rehearsals and tour. This role works closely with the Head Chef to ensure timely meal preparation and proper food safety standards. No need for prior experience as a chef needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in meal preparation, cooking, and serving food for members, staff, and volunteers.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food truck and meal prep areas.
- Assist in grocery shopping, inventory management, and supply restocking.
- Support cleanup and dishwashing after meals.
Qualifications:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight schedules.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
