Michelle Ciriello, who has served Ascend Performing Arts since 2020, will be stepping down from her role as Assistant Corps Director and Ascend Project Manager to accept a new position as a Housing Coordinator with Drum Corps International. During her tenure, Ciriello served as Senior Project Manager and Assistant Director for the Blue Knights Drum and Bugle Corps, playing a key role in the organization’s operations and growth.
“My time with Ascend has meant more to me than I can adequately put into words,” said Ciriello. “It has been a true privilege to work alongside such dedicated staff and to support the incredible performers who make the Blue Knights who they are. The relationships, trust, and shared experiences formed during my time at Ascend will stay with me for the rest of my life, and I am deeply grateful to have been part of this organization and community.”
“Michelle has been an integral part of Ascend Performing Arts, and we owe her our sincere gratitude for her leadership, commitment, and impact,” said Mark Arnold, CEO of Ascend Performing Arts. “She joined us during an exceptionally challenging period and helped guide the organization through the COVID era, emerging stronger and more resilient as a result. We will miss her passion and dedication to our staff and students, but we are thankful for her support during this transition and look forward to continuing to work with her in her new role with Drum Corps International.”
