Jake Waldrop is an active brass teacher in the San Antonio area. He received his undergraduate degree in Commercial and Electronic Music from Western Carolina University where he spent three years with the Pride of the Mountains marching band. In 2015 he obtained his Masters of Music in Trumpet Performance from Oklahoma City University. Jake marched for the Blue Knights in 2011 and 2012 and was a member of the 2023 brass staff.
