Support Blue Knights Amazon Charity Lists

Amazon Smile

DENVER, CO – In 2013, Amazon launched AmazonSmile to make it easier for customers to support their favorite charities. However, the program has not grown to create the impact that Amazon had originally hoped despite raising over $449 million dollars for over 1 million charities worldwide. With so many eligible organizations, Amazon’s ability to have an impact was often spread thin. Thanks to our BKNation supporters, we have raised: $7,434.28 over the last nine years (as of November 2022).

AmazonSmile will wind down AmazonSmile by February 20, 2023. To help charities that have been a part of the AmazonSmile program with this transition, Amazon will provide a one-time donation equivalent to three months of what they earned in 2022 through the program. In addition, Ascend Performing Arts will be able to continue to accrue additional donations until the program officially closes on February 20th.

Once AmazonSmile closes, charities will still be able to seek support from Amazon customers by creating their own wish lists. You can view the Ascend Performing Arts and Blue Knights’ Charity Wish Lists HERE.

You can still support Ascend Performing Arts and the Blue Knights when you shop on AmazonSmile through February 20, 2023:

It is easy–go to smile.amazon.com and sign up (and select “Ascend Performing Arts” as your charity). Eligible purchases will result in donations to the Blue Knights at no extra cost to you! This is a very easy way to “give back” to and support the Blue Knights ensembles.
