Jessica Glasgow & Brandy DuBose Join Staff

The Blue Knights is excited to announce Jessica Glasgow as Visual Coordinator & Guard Designer and thrilled to welcome back Brandy DuBose in the role of Color Guard Caption Supervisor!

Jessica Glasgow originally from Golden, Colorado, now resides in American Fork, Utah, and Canton, Ohio. Jessica was involved in music from a young age, performing in her high school marching band and serving as drum major. She was awarded several awards for her high achievement in music, including the John Philip Sousa Award, recognizing superior musicianship and outstanding dedication.

Jessica performed with several well-known winter guards and drum corps in college while studying Music Education and playing the French horn. She spent time developing and perfecting her skills with Crossmen Drum Corps, Imbue Winter Guard, Signature Winter Guard, and Alchemy Winter Guard. Jessica was also a performing member of the Oracle Performance Ensemble, a dance company in Denver, Colorado.

Jessica’s passion extends beyond performance. Since the early 2000s, she has impacted numerous high school programs across the nation. Her leadership has garnered impressive accolades—state championships, finals appearances, WGI medals, BOA regional championships, and Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade performances. Currently, she serves as the artistic director for several programs including American Fork High School (UT), Amador Valley High School (CA), Channelview High School (TX), Maple Mountain High School (UT), and Davenport Central High School (IA).

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Jessica is a devoted wife and mother. Family adventures ignite Jessica’s creativity, fueling her passion for crafting innovative and captivating performances.

Brandy DuBose is a seasoned and highly respected figure in the color guard and marching arts, currently serving as the Instructional Specialist Sr. for the Arizona State Sun Devil Marching Band and as the Director and Choreographer for the Arizona State University Sun Devil Color Guard. With a career spanning over 30 years, Brandy has dedicated herself to advancing the pageantry arts through her roles as a choreographer, designer, director, and consultant.

Born and raised in Texas, Brandy’s journey began at Texas State University-San Marcos, where she majored in Dance Performance. Her early career was marked by influential positions with the Bobcat Marching Band Color Guard and Millennia Independent Open Winter Guard, where she made a significant impact over an 11-year period.
Upon relocating to Arizona, Brandy joined Arizona State University, further solidifying her expertise in the field. She also directs FeniX Independent Winter Guard, a highly acclaimed group that has earned recognition as a six-time World Class Finalist. Her experience includes serving as Caption Head for notable organizations such as Tarheel Sun Drum and Bugle Corps, The Academy, and The Blue Knights, as well as contributing to the color guard staff of the Santa Clara Vanguard.

Brandy’s performance background is equally impressive, with three years as a member of the color guard at Phantom Regiment and participation in prestigious programs like Nouveau, Speakeasy, and Ascension winter guards. Her extensive experience spans multiple states, including Texas, Kansas, Utah, and Arizona, where she has consistently brought her creative vision and leadership to various guard programs.

A dedicated advocate for the color guard community, Brandy has served on the Board of Directors for TCGC, WGAZ, and WGI, striving to create opportunities for aspiring performers. She resides in Gilbert, Arizona with her husband Wardell King and their son Miles King, where she continues to inspire and nurture the next generation of pageantry arts enthusiasts.
