DENVER, CO – From March 16th through March 20th, Ascend Performing Arts, is joining the Colorado Nonprofit Association and its fellow members and supporters across the state to celebrate Colorado Nonprofit Week, an annual event that recognizes the vital contributions nonprofit organizations make to our communities.
The purpose of Colorado Nonprofit Week is to educate the public and create a better understanding of the value and importance of the nonprofit sector to our state.
Ascend is participating in a number of Colorado Nonprofit Week activities designed to increase visibility of the work its organization performs in the community. Ascend will highlight its mission and vision, provide a tribute to its volunteers and board members, acknowledge the dedicated staff which works so hard year-round, and thank those who donate to and support the organization.
“Nonprofits serve our communities in ways we don’t always recognize,” said Renny Fagan, president and CEO of Colorado Nonprofit Association. “From health and human services, to arts and education, the work of nonprofits is integrated into the daily lives of Coloradans. Our hope for Colorado Nonprofit Week is to illustrate how these organizations create the wonderful quality of life we enjoy here in Colorado.”
“This week is a great opportunity for Ascend Performing Arts to tell our story,” said Mark Arnold, Executive Director, Ascend Performing Arts. “I am very proud of the efforts of everyone involved, from our volunteers and staff members to our donors and supporters.”
