Born and currently residing in Connecticut, Katelynn is so excited to return to the west coast with the Blue Knights for the summer. Her performance career includes 7th Regiment (2015-2018), University of New Haven Winter Guard (2018-2020), Blue Knights Drum & Bugle Corps (2019-2021), and Fusion Winter Guard (2021-2025).

In addition to her performance background, Katelynn has built a strong foundation as an educator, teaching and choreographing for many programs up and down the east coast. She has spent her summers since ageing out teaching for Jersey Surf, The Blue Knights, and 7th Regiment.

She is currently the director for University of New Haven Color Guard since 2022, and co-director of Mark T. Sheehan High School since 2016. Drawing education and passion from both DCI and WGI experience, Katelynn is committed to fostering excellence, growth, and confidence in every student she works with, and can’t wait to have a great summer with the staff and students back home at BK!
