Matthew was the founder, director, and designer of CGT Dallas (5 time WGI finalists and 2018 WGI IW fan favorite) and CGT Denton (2018 IO silver medalist and 2 time WGI finalist). Most recently, Matthew was the program designer for IW finalist, Anesidora Winter Guard (2026) and two-time IW finalist, Icon Winter Guard (2024/2025). Matthew was a member of the Blue Stars Drum and Bugle Corps color guard staff for many years, serving as the caption manager for the 2018 and 2019 seasons. In May of 2024, Matthew relocated to Colorado from Dallas, TX where he had been the color guard director and marching band show and drill designer for Coppell HS. Matthew still designs, stages, and consults for several winter guard and marching band programs throughout Colorado, Texas, and other areas around the country, including Coppell HS (TX), Melissa HS (TX), Lake Ridge HS (TX), Sherman HS (TX), Choctaw HS (OK), Great Oak HS (CA), Keller HS (TX), Jenks HS (OK), Pine Creek HS (CO), Legacy HS (CO), Cherry Creek HS (CO) and NOVA Winter Guard (2026).
