Quintin Toma
Quintin is a dedicated academic specializing in music education and the performing arts. He began his journey in high school marching band, following in the footsteps of his older brothers. In 2018 and 2019, at the ages of 16 and 17, he marched with Pacific Crest. After his initial years in marching band, Quintin developed a keen interest in movement and enrolled in modern dance and ballet classes at his community college, alongside music courses, from 2019 to 2022. This newfound passion for dance led him to perform in several community college dance shows. In 2022, he marched with the Blue Knights. After improving his skills, he was hand-selected to join the RCC Indoor Percussion Visual Ensemble in 2023.
Graduating from community college, Quintin continued his education at California State University, Fullerton, where he further honed his skills. In 2023, he marched mellophone with the Blue Devils. This opportunity allowed him to participate in his age-out year as a member of RCC Indoor Percussion’s visual ensemble in 2024 as a returning member. Building on his reputation in the field, Quintin was hired as a visual instructor for several programs, including Chino High School, El Dorado High School, Arcadia High School, Dark Sky Indoor Percussion, and Pacific Crest Drum and Bugle Corps.
Currently, he is enrolled in the credential program at California State University, Fullerton, pursuing a degree in music education. Quintin aspires to become a middle school band director in the coming years.
