DENVER, CO – The Blue Knights Percussion Ensemble is pleased to announce the design team for the upcoming 2022 season. Returning as Program Coordinator & Visual Designer, Peter Lucero will also be arranging for the battery in tandem with the visual design. Colin Spear will return as Front Ensemble Arranger alongside Danny Sibley as Sound Designer. “I look forward to seeing our design team continue to build on the progress we’ve made with our membership as they develop an exceptional program. I’m also very excited to have Sarah Ball joining the team this year!” says BKPE Director Keenan Evans.
Sarah Ball will be joining the design team as Design Consultant. Sarah started her marching career at Lakewood High School in Lakewood, Colorado and marched as a member of the Blue Knights Open Percussion Ensemble before moving to California. Sarah was also a member of the Black Knights Drumline (PIW), The Seattle Cascades, and the Casper Troopers.
Over the past 17 years, Sarah has worked with a variety of programs throughout Southern California ranging from Scholastic A to Independent World and currently serves as the Percussion Director for Great Oak High School in Temecula, California, where she has taught since 2004. While not teaching or designing for drumline, Sarah works as an attorney in San Diego, where she lives with her husband and 3 dogs. She is very excited to work with the group that spurred her love for the activity.
