Position Summary:
The Merchandise Manager oversees the sales, inventory, and distribution of Blue Knights merchandise during the summer tour. This role is responsible for managing the merchandise booth, tracking inventory, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, manage, and tear down the merchandise booth at events and competitions.
- Track inventory levels and coordinate restocking of popular items.
- Process sales transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
- Engage with fans, members, and families to promote merchandise sales.
- Manage online merchandise orders when applicable.
- Maintain the visual appeal and organization of merchandise displays.
- Coordinate transportation and storage of merchandise during the tour.
Qualifications:
- Experience in retail, sales, or inventory management preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to manage cash and credit transactions accurately.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel and work long hours during the season.
