Merchandise Manager

Position Summary:
The Merchandise Manager oversees the sales, inventory, and distribution of Blue Knights merchandise during the summer tour. This role is responsible for managing the merchandise booth, tracking inventory, and ensuring a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up, manage, and tear down the merchandise booth at events and competitions.
  • Track inventory levels and coordinate restocking of popular items.
  • Process sales transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Engage with fans, members, and families to promote merchandise sales.
  • Manage online merchandise orders when applicable.
  • Maintain the visual appeal and organization of merchandise displays.
  • Coordinate transportation and storage of merchandise during the tour.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in retail, sales, or inventory management preferred.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage cash and credit transactions accurately.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel and work long hours during the season.
