1396717_10152071621778619_603163308_nBecky Paschke, Blue Knights Drum & Bugle Corps alum, has run the Colfax Marathon for the last six years. Paschke has been active with Ascend Performing Arts since 1999 as a mellophone player, drum major, and tour advisor for the Blue Knights Drum and Bugle Corps. She also served on the Ascend Board of Directors for a year, took part in Blue Knights-Taiwan and Blue Knights-Vail performance ensembles.

Paschke currently teaches music as a high school band director and has served as a Colfax Marathon Ambassador over the past few years. This means she volunteers during race weekend, attends training runs to spread the word about the marathon, and assists charity partners, such as Ascend Performing Arts. Paschke urges, “There is a race for everyone with the Colfax Marathon! Runners of all abilities can find a race that suits them. Come out and enjoy!”

Sponsor A Runner! Sponsor

Ascend Performing Arts has a “giving page” for those who still want to support their favorite performing arts organization.
