Tristan Peterson currently serves as the Director of Bands at Fort Lupton High School, located in Fort Lupton, Colorado. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education and a Bachelor’s degree in Music Performance from the University of Colorado, and he completed his Master’s degree through the American Band College program at Central Washington University.

Upon his graduation in 2020, Tristan embarked on his teaching career as the instrumental music instructor at Galileo Middle School in Colorado Springs, Colorado, where he dedicated three years to fostering the development of middle school band and orchestra students.

He was a performer of the Blue Knights from 2015 to 2017 and the Santa Clara Vanguard in 2018 and 2019. Currently, he is a member of the Blue Knights Brass Staff for the 2023 season and is excited to return.

Tristan’s deep appreciation for Colorado is reflected in his personal life, where he enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Hannah, and their two feline companions, Freya and Mist.
