Lauren Bolton currently serves as the Percussion Director for the Martin High School pyramid in Arlington, Texas. Lauren has a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Texas at Arlington and a performance background that includes marching with Vigilantes Indoor Percussion from 2014-2017. In addition, Lauren has performed at the Percussive Arts Society International Convention of 2017, commissioned and premiered Dustin Schulze’s Waterfall for marimba, and is a proud Dynasty Artist and Educator.
Lauren has been teaching percussion students in the DFW area since 2014. She has played an instrumental role in teaching the percussion sections at Arlington High School, Trinity High School, Kennedale High School, Southlake Carroll High School, Richland High School, and Paschal High School. Her private lesson studios have included the Arlington High School and Hebron High School clusters, and has taught many All-Region and front ensemble masterclasses in the DFW area. In addition, Lauren has taught several independent groups including Genesis Drum and Bugle Corps and Vigilantes Indoor Percussion.
Aside from being an active percussionist, performer, and educator in the DFW area, Lauren and her husband love to travel! They currently live in Fort Worth, TX with their corgis Watson and Bailey.
