Kyler is a composer, educator, and performer residing in Des Moines, Iowa.  He is the adjunct professor of drum set for the School for Music Vocations Southwestern Community College, and the battery coordinator at Waukee High School. He has also worked with Cedar Falls High School, Waterloo West High School, Ballard High School, and River City Rhythm Indoor. With a music degree from University of Northern Iowa, Kyler is well versed in styles of jazz, rock, funk, latin, and linear drumming. As a composer, Kyler has written for various marching bands and actively releases music on a regular basis. Kyler draws from his experience in the Colts Drum & Bugle Corps (2015-16), River City Rhythm Indoor (2018), the Cavaliers Drum & Bugle Corps (2018), classical ensembles, and jazz ensembles to influence his composition and professional performing career as a live and studio drummer of all styles. Additionally, Kyler is completing a masters in music education from Drake University and runs a private studio for drum set and percussion lessons.
