Brandon Wallace has been a part of the marching arts for about eleven years now, beginning his independent experience with Gold Drum and Bugle Corps in 2014. Brandon went on to perform with Gold one more year, then performing with Blue Devils B in 2017. He then went on to perform with the Mandarins Drum and Bugle Corps from 2018-2022 where he aged out as the Horn Sergeant in their first year breaking 90. Brandon’s teaching experience began in the fall of 2018 teaching visual at Mira Mesa High school in San Diego, California. He has gone on to be visual caption head at Chula Vista, Murrieta Mesa High School, as well as just recently taking over as one of the Visual Caption Managers at Mira Mesa. His first year with the Blue Knights was the summer of 2024 and he cannot wait to grow on the visual success the corps had last year. Brandon works as an Elementary School Instructional Assistant at Feaster Elementary in Chula Vista, California where he teaches the 6th grade. He also goes to school at Southwestern College, majoring in history, with plans to transfer to San Diego State University, eventually getting his teaching credential and teaching at the high school level.
