Elijah Samuél Figueroa is an award-winning, world champion performer and director of dance, music, and drama. Figueroa has won the DCI Gold Medal and World Championship with the 2019 Blue Devils Color Guard. After founding the Dauntless Youth Fine Arts program in the 2020-2021 season, he helped students with no performance/competition experience at the National Fine Arts Festival win their first 2 National Champion titles the same year, acquiring 2 more National titles in 2022 and 2023. His work in the program has even garnered him the first ever iShine Award for his choreography and ministry through the arts which was broadcast on TBN. In his inaugural year as choreographer/co-program coordinator for both of Mayfair’s top show choirs in 2023, his students swept all caption awards and 1st place, and repeated that title the following year in 2024. During his time at Grand Canyon University where he received a BA in dance performance and choreography, his work has been hand-selected for the prestigious 2022 American College Dance Association Gala alongside the works of Andy Noble and Travis Lake. His performing and choreographic talents were even awarded by the likes of Academy Award-winner George Chakiris (West Side Story, 1961) and Reeve Carney (Hadestown original Broadway cast) at the 2018 Arts Aloud competition. He currently resides in Southern California, blessed to continuously work many performance/choreographic/educational opportunities for the stage and screen, most notably as a performer at the Disneyland Resort and Knott’s Berry Farm, a member of ThaMost Dance Crew (competing and placing on World Of Dance), teacher at the Snowglobe Perspective dance facility, a judge for National Fine Arts Festival, as well as the founder and Director of his competition dance team, E-Co System, set to return to compete at MAXT OUT dance competition on November 17th after placing in the top 3 their debut performance last fall.
