Matt James is an active educator and performer from Goshen Indiana. He holds a Bachelors in Music Education and a Masters in Music Performance from Illinois State University. He currently resides as the percussion director for Goshen Community Schools, where he works with their various music ensembles and marching program. His marching performance experience involves Green Thunder Percussion (2011-2014), Cavaliers Indoor Percussion (2015-2017), Legends Drum and Bugle Corps (2012), and Phantom Regiment (2013-2016). His marching education experience includes Shadow Drum and Bugle Corps (2017-2020), Cavaliers Indoor (2018) the Madison Scouts (2019), and the Blue Knights.
