COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – The 2015 Colorado Music Educators Association Clinic and Conference, is being held January 28th–31st at the Broad-moor Hotel, Colorado Springs, Colorado. Ascend Performing Arts/Blue Knights will have a booth in the exhibit hall all three days that will see about 1,600 educators and 2,000 performers and guests. Attendees come from K-16 education and general, vocal and instrumental music backgrounds. Exhibit hours are Thursday, set up 7:00 A.M. to noon., open noon to 6:30 P.M. Exhibit hours are 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. on Friday and 9:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on Saturday.
The conference will consist of workshops, guest speakers such as Tim Lautzenheiser, live performances by the students from Denver School of the Arts, the renowned Dallas Brass, and culminating in concert events with the All-State Jazz groups and the All-State Elementary Choir.
The conference event is a great opportunity to friends and alumni to reunite as Colorado music professionals in this annual event. We invite anyone who is attending the event to come by the Ascend Performing Arts/Blue Knights booth in the exhibit hall and say hello!
