DENVER, CO – Ascend Performing Arts is excited to announce the Blue Knights Hall of Fame class of 2022.
The Hall of Fame was created to preserve the memory of the incredible people who have made a substantial, positive impact to the Blue Knights Drum & Bugle Corps and who can serve as role models for present and future generations. The Blue Knights Drum & Bugle Corps Hall of Fame recognizes outstanding alumni, educational staff, administrative staff, and volunteers that have contributed significantly to the organization.
The Hall of Fame Committee is working to find the safest way to celebrate and honor our 2022 inductees at this year’s Drums Along the Rockies event at Colorado State University. More information will be posted on the Ascend Performing Arts website soon.

Becky Paschke
Becky Paschke (Williams) was a member of the Blue Knights Drum & Bugle Corps performing on mellophone and as a drum major between 1999 through 2003. After she aged out, she joined the Blue Knights educational staff from 2004 through 2007 helping the drum corps improve competitively during the early 2000’s. She also served as a member of the Ascend Performing Arts Board of Directors, as a Blue Knights Alumni Coordinator, as a frequent volunteer, and as a runner for Ascend Performing Arts in the Colfax Marathon.
As the band director for D’Evelyn High School since 2016, Becky has continued the band program’s many years of success winning the Colorado Bandmasters Association 2A and 3A State Championships. She has also led her marching band to their first-ever Bands of America competition in 2021 as well as participating in the virtual Presidential inaugural Parade Across America event. Her orchestra also earned outstanding recognition at the Colorado West invitational Music Performance Festival. She serves as the President-Elect for the Colorado Bandmasters Association. Becky is also a board member for the D’Evelyn Education Foundation that raises funds to purchase new instruments and equipment to allow her band program to double in size over five years.
Because of her hard work and efforts to elevate the performing arts in the Rocky Mountain Region, Becky was named Yamaha’s “40 Under 40” recognition. Becky has embodied what it means to be a Blue Knights through everything she does with Ascend Performing Arts and in her Colorado community as a leader and supporter of the performing arts.
KC Perkins
KC Perkins began her connection with the performing arts at age seven, as a spectator of the 1977 DCI Prelims in her hometown of Boulder, CO. With her father, who encouraged her love for spinning, young KC traveled to various cities across the United States to observe drum and bugle corps and winter guard shows. When she was old enough, she performed with the Blue Knights, Thunderbolts, Emerald Marquis, and Cadets of Bergen County.
For the last 30 years, KC’s love for the activity led her to be an instructor for many groups to include Broomfield High School, Pomona High School, Plymouth-Canton High School, Pope High School, Seminole High School, Father Ryan High School, Forte Winterguard, Oracle Winterguard, Opus X Winterguard, Paramount Winterguard, Blue Knights Drum & Bugle Corps, Crossmen Drum & Bugle Corps, as well as the Caption Head for Phantom Regiment Drum & Bugle Corps and Madison Scouts Drum & Bugle Corps. She currently consults, judges, and works clinics where she not only shares her talent but also a message of community, connection, and art.
KC embodies the Blue Knights ideals by fostering collaborative dialogue, encouraging creative exploration, and by empowering the performers and instructors she works with to be the best versions of themselves in all they do.
