The Blue Knights Percussion Ensemble is open to anyone under the age of 23 years on April 1 of each competitive season. Members who were age outs and part of an ensemble at the end of the 2020 season may also audition.

We will begin reviewing audition video submissions on November 8th, however e will accept later submissions until the ensemble is set. Audition videos will be evaluated in the order they are received.

The rehearsal schedule will be significantly reduced compared to a normal season’s rehearsal commitments. Our rehearsals will take place on the weekends.

It is our goal to be able to provide as much of a normal experience as possible during these times of COVID-19, including in-person rehearsals whenever it is safe to do so. The reality is that the situation is continuing to change on a day-to-day basis and government restrictions may affect our ability to continue to meet in-person. There may be times where we need to transition rehearsals to a virtual setting. We understand that this
format presents its challenges and will work to ensure this format is engaging, allows us to make progress within our season, and allows you to continue to grow as a percussionist. Our first priority with in-person rehearsals is to always ensure the safety of our members and staff throughout the season.
