Chad was born and raised in central Mississippi where he was first introduced to band and color guard. He spent 4 years in his high school winter guard program and 3 in the fall marching season. He has also performed and total of 6 seasons at world class organizations, Cavaliers 2016-2019 and Paramount Winterguard 2018 and this 2024 season. He is so happy to be entering his 4th year teaching at Blue Knights. His other teaching experience includes Clinton High School from Clinton,MS, Hernando High School from Hernando, MS, and the Jones College color guard. He currently resides in Hattiesburg, MS with his bestie and assistant caption head Meredith Owen. Outside of color guard, Chad enjoys spending time with friends, being outside, and loves himself a good puzzle. He is currently studying Kinesiology at the University of Southern Mississippi in order to one day go to Athletic Training school and become an Athletic Trainer.
