Name:
Jacob Marin

What year(s) did you march in the Blue Knights?
I marched in 2010, 2011, and 2014.

What section?
The contra line!

Where did you attend high school?
Clovis high school in Clovis, New Mexico.

Education beyond high school?
Went to college for four years.

What is your current occupation?
A musician in the United States Marine Corps.

Why did you choose to march with the Blue Knights?
It was local, very friendly, and they were more than willing to help me meet my goals in order to march.

What is your favorite drum corps memory?
Out of many great memories, my best one would have to be my age out at Lucas Oil Stadium.

How have the Blue Knights impacted your life?
After being exposed to such talented musicians, my music standards and expectations have sky rocketed and have since been my inspiration to seek out self improvement on and off the marching field.

What are some the Blue Knights’ core values/principles that have resonated with you in life?
The Blue Knights has taught me the importance of friends and loved ones. The fact that you will never again perform the same show with the same people makes me cherish all the good and bad moments throughout the summer.
