Position Summary:
The Operations Assistant supports the day-to-day logistical and administrative functions of the Blue Knights Drum Corps. This role assists in coordinating transportation, housing, scheduling, and general tour operations to ensure a smooth experience for members and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Corps Manager and Tour Director with daily tour logistics and operations.
- Help coordinate travel arrangements, schedules, and facility access.
- Support equipment and vehicle logistics, including loading and unloading.
- Assist with communication between staff, members, and volunteers regarding schedules and updates.
- Maintain inventory and ensure supplies are stocked for corps needs.
- Troubleshoot and address operational issues as they arise.
- Provide general administrative support as needed.
Qualifications:
- Experience in operations, logistics, or event management preferred.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing situations.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
